I cut animal meat out about 16 years ago, and I’ve always had people projecting their opinions of my diet, but it’s honestly just made me have thicker skin and care less about what people think/say in general. I know I’m just in my reasoning and I feel amazing because of my diet. Ive had this diet for more than half my life now, and I just don’t see animal products as food. This video is so helpful to those starting out, but I found it insightful as a veteran veg too! 🥰
I've always thought exploring other cultural foods is one of the best ways to go to a more vegetarian /vegan food. Most European dishes need at least a little piece of meat (generally porc) to get their traditional taste. And when you discover spices of other countries it's wonderful… In the beginning, one gets easily tired of them when it's not in one's habit. So it's sometimes not so easy. (that's why salads save it all… No meat is expected and you can keep your usual seasoning). Btw, I'm not vegan and not even fully vegetarian, just on my way, slowly but surely… Because I finally understood I need a looong transition after many tries and fails,
Fiber keeps you full for 2 reasons: 1. The physical pressure against your stomach lining causes a feeling of fullness, 2. Fiber gets converted to butyric acid by fermentation in your colon. Butyric acid, a short chain fatty acid, is one of the main energy sources for the human body.
I couldn’t agree more! Growing up I always loved vegetables and I didn’t eat much meat other than chicken. Being vegan allowed me to be even more open to trying different foods (that I feel I wouldn’t have otherwise). Before going Vegan I always heard that tofu was disgusting. I am glad to say tofu is my favorite vegan protein. I always try to encourage my friends to give it a try.
There’s no such thing as ex vegans only people who didn’t understand the difference between plant based eaters and vegans. People who call themselves ex vegans were simply on a plant based diet and were never vegan at all.
My reason for going Vegan, I don’t want my cancer to come back. I’ve found with some research that going Vegan will help lessen the chance of it coming back.
Thank you for the tips. I am researching veganism because my family has a history of diabetes. My grandma has it and my dad got diagnosed with it a short while ago. I am overweight and I am definitely afraid of contracting these things. I want to feel good and no longer have a problematic diet. Instead of throwing away all of the meat in my house, however, I'm trying to do a heavy amount of research so that I can have an understanding and a plan before I dive in. Thankfully there are many resources out there… so thank you for all of the info.
I am not a vegan, but I do want to cut back on the amount of meat I eat. And this woman made me like (some) mushrooms, after a lifetime of literally feeling sick at their smell/texture. So of you are new here, have a seat-you'll be glad you stayed.
Excellent video. I’m planning to go vegan soon, maybe the first of the year, perhaps sooner. I’m watching videos and doing my homework, because I don’t want to fail. I know that it’s going to be a really big adjustment for me, but I feel that I can do it. As long as I can learn to fix some food that actually taste good, I’ll succeed, but if I find myself eating plain old lettuce and carrots every day, that’s gonna be a deal breaker. So I’m definitely going to need to find a good vegan cookbook or something like that.
I recommended Dr Madida on YouTube to my sister and after she used Dr Madida herbal medicine for her genital herpes she was cured totally. My sister was really scared and depressed because she was told that there is no cure by a medical practionalist but I am happy that she is cured completely after agreeing, receiving and using Dr Madida's meds I gave her.
These tips are helpful for any kind of healthy diet, wether you include animal food sources, or not! I recommend this for everyone who is interested in a healthy diet.
I Just want to give you a big virtual hug. I’ve been vegan 🌱 since February 2022. I’ve always wanted to become vegan since a kid but just didn’t know HOW and I didn’t come from a vegan family! Growing up, I always ate the side and left the meat on the plate. 😅 I prayed & you came across my recommendations and I haven’t looked back! Of course, being vegan isn’t being perfect but I have inspired SO MANY without even realizing it just how you inspired me. My hubby and kids and family aren’t vegans but they always consider my lifestyle when we have dinners and or family get together’s. They make sure I have vegan 🌱 food to eat. They also like to try my vegan dishes so I always make sure to make a lot. Support is number 1 key. 🌱❤️
When I was born i didn't know what it meant and when I was 5 I thought vegan meant Baked beans but I love pizza cheesecake chicken nuggets I also like fruits Some veggies…. But I don't harm animals because I am a animal lover but I can't stop thinking of chicken nuggets my dogs love chicken nuggets and KFC my cats love meat I also feed them cheesecake and turns out my cats can eat chocolate but since we can't eat animals because it's un vegan dose that mean that we can eat eachother and eat eachother a meat? So then cannibalism is allowed?
NEVER GO VEGAN! A UK study of more than 26,000 middle-aged women revealed those who do not eat meat and fish have a 38 percent higher risk of hip fractures AND severe deficiencies in iron, zinc, and vitamin B12.
Love it! I'd subscribed ❤️ I'm vegan for the animals for 1.5 years now and loving it! It's so good for my health.. I love channels with information and recipes. Can't wait to check em out! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
( Ps. Don't know if you are aware or not (no negative or attack) but in the commercials I get commercials from Mc Donald's meat )
I'm new to this being vegan I just decided that I was and it's kind of hard for me because I don't like things like onions or peppers or mushrooms they don't taste good to me so it's hard to try to find things or make meals that are you know without those things cuz a lot of vegans are people who don't eat meat you know use those a lot of their meals and I'm trying to find ways to this new journey where I can find things that I like and that works for me and it's different it's going to be hard I know that I'm willing to give it a try
Thank you, Nisha. I have been a vegetarian (later turned vegan) for 28 years. I also live in the heart of ranching and farming country, so my diet is often challenged by people and frowned upon. I grew up on a dairy farm and ranch, actually. I was exposed to a lot of animal cruelty, and this was the main reason I stopped eating meat at 18 years of age. Your channel has really helped me cook some delicious foods, and even my meat-eating husband is raving about. =) Also, I've had multiple blood tests through the years, and the dr has always told me my results are absolutely perfect, so it is possible to be vegan and get all the nutrients you need. =)
Iv`e been Vegan for 5 years, and had to quit after many issues, but worse was my teeth rotting out. My vegan diet was about as good and dialled in as possible. I was forced to return to eating meat. Please all be careful…🙏
your point about not being perfect is incredible. thank you so much; it's such an important point. i started as a vegetarian at a very early age (8) and despite my strong convictions, there was just a lot that i didn't know. it's so important to forgive yourself and to not think that you're somehow "tainted" or imperfect because you consumed an animal product unknowingly. this is a point that i haven't seen others make, but it's so important to state, especially as a long time plant-head.
I have been vegetarian for 6 years now, and I’m finally starting to think about how I can eat healthier and further reduce my consumption of animal products. Growing up in a meat eating household, my choices have never been met with full support, but with with skepticism, misunderstanding, and ridicule. Naturally, this meant that no one was encouraging me to find things I could eat, rather telling me all the things I was missing out on and how I’m going to end up hurting myself. So, I’ve really never taken my nutrition seriously, and I’m feeling the effects on body. I really want to get more creative and think about how I can get more nutrition from food and have fun doing it.
Seems like a lot of you are interested in building blocks! You can get a taste of that in this 8-ingredient vegan meal prep video 🙂 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=coks7z2lltA&t=737s
You don't mention anything about Lamb….
If you stand near a food that you font know how to prepare, as do someone who is buying it ehat they are going to do with it.

Yup.
Yes we can share a salad too. Just saying.

I don’t call myself a vegan. I find when you label yourself, all these rules pop up. I say I am mostly plant based.
You are excellent presenter
so.. the vegetable part… i like them, no problem but… that shits expensive

i am SO blessed with supportive family members who do their best to buy vegan food for me and make sure i can eat something when we go out to eat 🙂

It wasn't easy but it did works in curing my human papillomavirus, all thanks to Dr Madida for sending me the herbal cure.
You can get your disease/virus🦠 cure with a medicine that cure my herpes virus and Pulmonary fibrosis from Dr Madida on YouTube.

The first mistake is being vegan.
I love plant-based lamb and vegan cows
