I use a toothpick on the bacon around the pickles and cut them into pieces and fry them in the deep fryer I don't bake them in the oven. It pretty nice that way when they're fried but cut them into threes put a third of a piece of bacon around it to thicket and fry it. 🙂
I prefer a yellow corn tortillas to fry. I always use peanut oil because other vegetable oils make the food taste better when you eat that and then drink something or eat something else.

What I'd you par cooked the bacon until limp but start to release the grease. Then pat off most of the grease.

Look for a small thing of popcorn salt it is extremely fine and will stick much better.
I would cut the pickles into pieces.
Don't forget food will continue to Brown and crisp once out of the fryer.

maybe precook the bacon to almost done, and flexible, then wrap and cook.. wrap them in the puff pastry even… ideas ideas
