Hi Dani! I have looked to you for healthy recipes for a long time. I am "attracted" to you (I don't mean that in a weird way) because of your wonderful personality which shines so in your videos. I have watched other women's (& men's) videos and their healthy recipes but never relate quite as much as I relate to you. So, that being said, thank you! I want to make a comment regarding salad dressings. Since I hate to throw food of any kind away, I started using the leftover liquids in my artichoke jar, olive jars, pickle jars, etc. I add some spices such as my home grown basil, thyme, rosemary, etc. I leave it sit a bit & use just enough to wet my salad and it's yummy! With the rise of "misfit & ugly & imperfect" food sales on-line in an effort to lessen our food waste, I feel good that I am contributing to that movement. I am hoping chefs will get onboard by talking about (and showing) food not having to be perfect looking to be edible. Just a thought!
The tomato onion cucumber salad is delicious! I make mine with tomato, red onion, cucumber, a little bit of olive oil and fresh lemon juice and lemon pepper seasoning and depending how I'm feeling- a tiny bit of pink Himalayan fine salt. So simple. Delish!!
