    i put the apple bits in the microwave for 6mins before i add them & they freeze well. i made 5 doz & its holiday brunch for adults & a quick breakfast grab for kids that cant wait for waffles.

    guess i came to the wrong channel. Tasted horrible. Needs moisture of some sort (in the form of some oil) and at least some amt of sugar. On to a new search.

    I'm almost going to cry… I've heard stories of one of my elderly relatives making baked apples for the family in the fall and winter when it was cold out, and I never got to try them… but this looks like my chance! 😊

    I think that what you use is not Apfelsaft, it is Apfelmus (in Germany). Apfelsaft is apple juice.

    I am shocked at how incredible these muffins turned out! After they sit in refrigerator for a day or two, it tasted like homemade Apple Buttermilk Cake!!! I Love these!!! They are Soooooo good!!! I've lost 23 LBS so far over eating Healthy!!!
