Why do all "professional chefs" feel that their recipe needs tomatoes and/or lemon or lime. My biggest pet peeve is the "Pro's" that think beef stew needs tomatoes or tomato paste….nope!. I will say that if I could go back in time and give my younger self advice I'd tell myself to do everything possible to own or control lemon and/or lime farms since apparently no chef chan deal without.
I have already saved some of your recipes to try later as they look so healthy. You add a drop of olive oil to some of the dishes. Is this heated oil harmful or healthy for the body? Thank you.

Can I use shallots instead of onions, acorn squash instead of carrots, bok choy instead of celery, red peppers instead of tomatoes, chicken broth instead of vegetable broth, spices instead of herbs, and noodles instead of cabbage?
I had made it and didn't like it. The can of tomato overpowered the soup. The cook time given was not accurate- the carrots and can of tomatoes were not fully cooked. I didn't know how to save it. Sorry.

I sometimes add a little bit of red pepper flakes and a can of chickpeas.
