What is not to like they are awesome. My problem was I think I made them too Thick so they are still a little raw inside but I did eat 1 and it was awesome

I finally made these, and they did not disappoint! Love the simplicity of the ingredients and how easily everything came together (in one pot, no less!). My husband is very picky and thought they were the best he has ever had – including restaurant veggie burgers. We also found the burgers freeze and reheat beautifully. Thank you! 🙏🙏

We thought these were excellent. The only ingredient deviations were smoked paprika and more flour as I think I didn't get the mixture as dry as in the video but it was fine-one has to adjust as needed. They tasted very good and the mixture was easy to handle and form. Damp hands worked fine instead of oil. They cooked up beautifully with minimal oil and held together well. Best bean burgers I've ever made or bought. I really appreciate the care that went into developing the recipe, the detailed notes and attention to texture and flavor balance. I usually alter recipes to our tastes but this one was delicious as written. I do think there's a lot of flexibility so I will add more veg in future batches. I ended up with 8 burgers. Four I fried and they were delicious. I baked two (350F 30 min, internal temp 200F), hoping to freeze them for later, and the last two I will freeze raw. I had a little bit left over so I fried a thin patty, chopped it fine-ish and returned to the pan to brown. It came out a little like ground beef. My thought was it would make a good substitute for tacos or nachos. It held together beautifully so perhaps in chili as well. More smoked paprika and a touch extra salt and it could pass for vegan bacon bits. I think this has many possibilities and I'm eager to try them out. Done! And it's really very tasty 🤤. My daughter (2 yo) and I loved it. I put less pepper for her to eat it. I also add a little bit of oregano as it enhances black beans taste. Delicious!
