You are so right that a lot of times we buy things in the store and they are already stale. I only buy candy corn in the fall because the rest of the year, you are likely to get a stale bag, and candy corn only tastes good when it's new. I'm convinced most people hate candy corn because they never had any that wasn't stale and awful.
Hi John, I used plain desiccated shredded coconut, they turned out a little dry. I added pistacchio nuts to it. They came out delicious but not as easy to put onto the baking tray. Can you tell me why please?

I have unsweetened coconut can I use that or does it need to be sweetened especially given youโre using sweetened condensed milk? Anyone know?

Switch out the vanilla for almond extract or mint extract
I chopped pecans (roasted) and dipped the macaroons first chocolate and then nuts. Delicious too.๐
