With prices going up here, in Canada, for fresh vegetables and meat , it's a wonderful recipe with just the basics. As a working senior living alone, I like to have extra that I can freeze and enjoy later. Thank you so much.
That's fantastic. Looks great and simple 👌
Well done…Did you know====CROCKPOTS have their heating elements on the BOTTOM of the unit.
SLOW COOKERS have the element wrapped around the SIDE of the unit. Thank you for your great recipe.
Thank you for the recipe. I love cooking in the crockpot in the winter.
Thank you! My family enjoyed this recipe.
Delicious!!! Since I tried your recipe a couple of weeks ago
Put this in the crockpot again today!! Thanks for sharing!!
How many quarts is your crackpot?
Look at those prices from 3. Years ago
Looks delicious 😋
You listed the prices of the meat and I had to pause and look at the year the vid was released.
Thank you for your video ..I will make this!
I'm surprised you didn't brown the meat in a frying pan first. I'm going to have to try this method. Just putting the raw meat on top looks so easy. Thanks.
Isn't stew meat from chuck?
I made it and it was great. Making it again tomorrow but I have to start it early, how long should I cook it on low? Thanks!
I had to pause and find out what year this was posted. 2 years ago. The priced you'd pay now for one of those chuck roasts would be $12 where I live, it's more than doubled!!
Americans trying to pronounce Worcestershire sauce always makes me laugh but the recipe is good
Curry Blake has a divine healing playlist on YouTube. It helped me learn how to have faith and overcome the enemy causing sickness in my life.
thank you so much and your pup at the end made it even better doggo approved! 🙂
That’s allowed crockpot bro
my chuck roast was $17, thanks biden. Its 2.57 LBs, incase you are wondering.
Those cuts of beef today sell for like $15 😢
I always fry my meat before I put it in the crock pot,
Once beef was $3-4 per lb 😱😱😱
I would definitely add some flour or cornstarch to thicken up the gravy maybe 2 cups of fortified wine instead of 4 cups of water
Hope your doing well big guy thanks for the recipe.
Tin Man you should consider going on keto or carnivorous. You are allergic to some foods that are causing your diseases.
Looks great for an October-ish Saturday night.
Could you substitute the water with beef broth or would it be better with just the water?
No beef stock?
I LIKE TO USE BEEF BULLION, AND NOT TABS BUT THE JAR KIND U GET AT COSCO AND SAMS CLUB… I STILL HAVE TROUBLE THICKING…CORN STARCH OR FLOUR? HOW MUCH SALT TOO.
MY FEET IS LIKE THAT… I THINK ITS THE MEDS WERE ON. CUZ WHEN I WAS SICK OF COVID I TOOK NO MEDS COULD NOT HOLD THEM DOWN AND MY FEET STOPPED HURTING…
Years ago in New York a friend gave me a Crock Watcher, which I used very often and made incredible stews and soups. When we packed the van and moved down here to New Orleans, only one thing got broken. You guessed it – the crockpot. I knew that these particular pots were no longer made, so I gave up on ever having another one just like it. A thrift shop where I buy remnants for my sewing projects has a household section. I held it in my mind that this crockpot would turn up. And amazingly enough, I found EXACTLY the same one – just tan color instead of deep orange. Since I am already an expert on using this type of slow cooker, I am really looking forward to doing this version of beef stew. Thanks for your lively, funny – and very interesting hints how to make a good stew even better….
Thanks, sir. I was hounding for an all American stew recipe. I hope that you are doing good, thank you for all your help!
Great recipe thanks
Those prices don’t exist now days! Good video and thank you!
I know its been a couple years, but I'm so glad I learned about your channel! I'm new at cooking, and I like how simple and delicious these meals look. I'm going to learn how to make this stew over the summer so that I can enjoy it while I am in the dorm in college during the fall. Thank you!
I did my beef stew a little different. Only whole ingredients. Pototoes , baby carrots, onion, garden peas. Season it with Mrs. Dash original, Himalayan salt, ground pepper, and seasoning called herbes de provence. Adding 2 packages of stewing beef. 4 cups of water. And a bay leaf. I have to cook this for about 5 hours and so I will I'll let you know how it tastes but I'm also going to add kidney beans in the end to make it a little bit thicker for the gravy kidney beans will thicken it that's why I do it at the end and hello for about 45 minutes and we'll thicken up the soup into more like a gravy so I cook my beef stew well that's another way to cook it if you like to use whole ingredients to use I don't use anything but I can one thing out of a can everything is whole cuz I don't like anything box I don't like anything that has preservatives in it yuck
Simply and my family love this beef stew made it twice I use beefy onion
i would expect the potatoes to turn to mush after 5.5 hours but it sure looks good
Why does not someone make a pack of frozen ingredients to make your own with out that dam GM soy that causes prostrate cancer, thats in everything. And no preserves. Cambells could make a fortune.
your kitchen is meat hands
I am about to make this!
I didn’t follow this recipe but i love all the things you put in there look delicious i let my meat cook 12 hours on low
Absolutely delicious!!! My grandson (12 yrs old) and i cook together every friday and even he was amazed!! We did use Lawrys seasoned pepper which sounded very close to what you used. Than you so much!! Will keep you in my prayers as well for best of health!!
Thanks for the recipe sir!
Just made this, I’ll let you know later tonight how it went 🙂
Has anyone ever added stewed tomatoes?
Please don't cut out out the fat from the meat as it will render down whilst cooking and add so much more flavour and tenderise the meat.
