This is seriously one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted. They were INCREDIBLE! I was addicted and it took serious will power to not to devour many bars at once. The recipe worked perfectly too. I will NEVER make another lemon bar/lemon tart recipe. Thank you so much! 😍
I sure wish these "healthy" recipes didn't have coconut oil. It may be better than canola oil, but it isn't healthy like olive oil, which is actually heart healthy.
Hi Sasha So I've been doing this recipe for sometime and love it. I recently tried to use the base recipe as a quiche base. Obviously I didn't think that it would taste so sweet with my quiche but it did. Ah ah. Didn't think this one through. Do you have an advice for a similar type of base but sour (salted)?
Lemon bars, like almost all baked goods, are TOO SWEET when bought at the grocery store. You'd think they'd realize the super sweetness HURTS their sales, yet they NEVER figure it out.
I just made this and the filling turned out eggy. I beat by hand, and a lot. What happened? Did I beat too much or not enough (should I have used an egg beater? I don't have one).
The 1st time I made these I didn't add the oats to the filling added midway through in the oven and they still turned out fantastic. This is a full proof recipe that is absolutely delicious and absolutely healthy
After trying this, I must say it tastes worse than it should because of the strong honey flavour. Normally love your channel, but this recipe is neither much healthier nor cheaper than comparable recipes. Using honey here simply isn't better than sugar, as most healthy contents of honey dissapear when baked like this. Whether coconut oil is healthy(er than butter) is also not yet researched enough either. It also is pretty damn expensive compared to butter or stuff like sunflower oil. I suggest just using butter for this.
💚You won't believe this molten lava cake is actually healthy, check it out here: https://youtu.be/xlSS04re9Io
These look soo good! How long do these keep?

Eating eggs is linked to many diseases as many studies have shown.
Can I trade the oats for something else? I can't eat oats
