Hi! Regarding seasoning, Japanese cooking only uses five basics salt soy sugar sake red pepper, I believe. I season with ingredients not spices unless it’s meat which needs tons of seasoning imho.
Totally gonna try this Southwest rice looks delicious! Quick question I love to be outdoors I love to hike I like exercise but I never loved to run. Really want to develop a love for this and wanted to know any tips that you have?
Great ideas! Looking forward to trying lentils for the 1st time & I'm trusting your channel to help me season them just right! I have 4 bags of green, yellow & red. Bought a dozen bags of various beans when I could find them (when pandemic started), but have yet to try them. Good thing I have an instant pot!
Trying to cook the rice and my instant pot duo has stopped giving a burn message 3 times! I’ve added enough water that it’s now a soup and it won’t stop. Crappy day
Love the tip on how to clean off labels, been really wanting to reuse some glass jars but couldn't get off the labels. Plus I like that you showed your pantry set up, my kitchen is really small as well and I only have three cabinets to fit everything so believe me it's a job as well as a bit messy 😂👍🏾
Always so Inspirational….. yep we reuse jars!!!! Sigh, I am desperately trying to get our pantry supplies down but we just mainly eat produce and tiny amounts of other things…. but getting there!!!!!
Pantry organization! Yeah!!! I really need to do mine. I have a cold cellar which is awesome but I have too much stuff in there and it's not easy to find things, so thanks for the inspiration Miranda
I recycle all my jars too, but I'm quite the opposite when it comes to food storage. I grew up in a Mormon household and having months of food storage was just something the church recommended. My parents did it and it's something that stuck with me even though I left the church over three decades ago. Great vid!
Miranda! I came on here too tell you that I am baking the bread today! ( The recipe you show on your videos). I am excited. So fun making the dough. Also, my YouTube logo is my child's logo. I let him post his gaming videos on my account. I am a mom. I work at Trader Joe's and love your Trader Joe's vids. 🙂
You just inspired me to make a pantry meal: red lentils, diced tomatoes, chili seasoning, frozen chopped spinach and frozen seasoning blend (onions, celery, red peppers, green peppers and parsley flakes). It can't cook soon enough!
Hello Miranda. I’ve started reading “The Starch Solution” book and trying some wfpb vegan meals to allow my body to adjust to this new lifestyle. I’m finding out how satiating starch is when it’s included in a meal and I now don’t have room afterwards to have a dessert. I enjoy watching your videos and seeing you make meals.
I’m working on an instant pot video that will be out later this week and I’m so excited to share all new recipes!❤️
Great video. ☺️

Good Miranda, you are inspiring and very well organized
do you use store-bought taco seasoning or home made?

Question about the homemade Trader Joe's Vegan Chickenless Seasoning….it is very heavy on the turmeric…is the original that way too? Thanks. 🙂
I want to try that rice I think it would be great it tacos and burritos

Does this taste anything like the chickpea “mock tuna”? I’ve been craving tuna and crackers, but I’m obviously trying to stay away from fish and mayo.
Hey Miranda! I find that storing my nuts and seeds in the freezer extends their shelf life!
