So you guys mighta noticed that I renamed this episode "Healthier Versions of Unhealthy Foods" – I wanted to make it clearer that these aren't diet foods or things you should necessarily eat every day, they're lower-calorie, lower-carb, higher-fiber versions of unhealthy foods. They're still very high in fat, so there's a trade-off, but they hopefully give you guys ideas of how to scratch the junk-food-itch when you're trying to eat well!
6:53 you'd be even healthier off if you didn't add such insane amounts of butter to so many dishes. Same goes for all the added salt you put in everything. But, that's 'Murica for ya. What I don't get is why you would eat so unhealthily as a nation and yet you choose not to have mandatory health insurance.

I would like to let you know that as a student of Oklahoma state university institute of technology I was delighted to see that my teacher assigned us to watch this video since I have been watching them for years and you helped me build up the courage to go to culinary school
this could replace a "normal" unhealthy diet because it's not healthy but it's healthier than what some of us eat on a daily basis and better is better if perfect is not an option.
My experience with dieting is, it's easier to just eat less of what you want, then to try and eat nothing but "healthy" things. But then, I guess it depends on whether you're trying to lose weight or trying to actually be healthy.
