How to eat more smash burgers? Make a restaurant-style one, then analyze where we can make lower-calorie substitutions while maintaining the highest level …
Always wonder though how much of a difference in calories there is after you cook the beef compared to before. Especially with smash burgers where you are basically cooking them medium well and much of the fat ends up left on the griddle.
Wow again wrong and it’s not about the calories it’s about grass fed beef, grass fed cheese aka organic, organic vegetables and make the bread yourself.
Just prepped this marvel of a burger – did not even heat the buns using any grease, rather just sheer buns on a non-stick pan and voila! Superlicious!!
If you can find keto friendly buns, while not as good, they are about 1/4 the calories as a brioche bun. Found some at my store that are 50 calories a bun, the brioche ones I like were 210 calories
Dude, I am a regular homecook and this is the best cooking show I've seen since Alton Brown's original Good Eats. Phenomenal content, perfect for YouTube. Wish I could subscribe 10x.
This might be the most creative youtube food series I have ever found. Love it dude, hope you get a chance to continue this while on your European journey.
I actually prefer leaner burgers now. I use extra lean beef or bison. Both of yours looked tasty. Like you, I too have lost a lot. Down to 207 from 285. 40 inch waist to 35. 27.4% body fat to 15.3. It's great how you break the macros and cals down.
Smash burgers quickly became my go to burger. I'm going to try to make one with ground turkey. I know it won't be nearly as good but it's in the freezer so why not?
Wonder if smearing some beef bouillon in the leaner one would do something
Your kitchen looks weird. Empty like.
boooo. diet food is trash. just go exercise.
Great video as usual.

Thank you so much!!! 🙏
Great video. How can we reduce calorie for normal rice?
Late to the game, but… I swear, I’d cut 230 calories from somewhere else in my day and keep the fattier burger.

Just the video I’m looking for
3:41 is the world's cutest knife.
I wonder if adding some MSG to the leaner meat might help extract more “beefy” flavour.
What temperature did you cook the ground beef on?

You could also not use a bun or a bun alternative like sweet potato, eggplant, mushroom etc.c
You could also use light mayo or even lighter than light.
Thank you.
You are much better than HowTo Basic!
I don't like the HowToBasic channel.
You can save some calories by making it an open sandwich, adding tomato to cover up some taste and reducing slightly the amount of meat.
You can also just use 4 oz instead of 5 oz.
Hey Ethan, I know this is an old video. But where do you find these translucent plastic tupperwhere tupperware

522cals for a burger of that quality is totally manageable. Gives you space to work it into your cal goals even on a cut
No tomato?
Thats a good idea to use rye buns instead of brioche. They are realy good and healthy with a little sour flavor.

Honestly making it home , I can count calories and it tastes better than fast food joints
So now I can eat two burgers and not feel as bad lol

A decent way to add protein is adding a little refried bean to the burger
