This recipe rocks, I tried this today. It was wholesome, fairly tasty, not very tasty to attract me and worth it, Few mistakes I had, which was I did not peel ginger. The taste was somewhat like Dal with tadka with obvious hints of cooked oats. Thanks Lubna.
the following is the Recipe alongside Ingredients I followed. Feel free to follow this, and excuse me for not writing Ingredients separately.
* Add Oil according to volume of Onion taken. Add Cumin (Jeera) One tbsp. Add Hing One quarter tbsp. Add crushed Garlic and Ginger (Half tbsp each). Add Green Chillies Three units. Add Onion (chopped fairly smaller than quarter chops) according to number of people to be served (serving quantity).
Saute till onion gets translucent. Add fairly chopped capsicum One medium size. Add Tomatoes fairly chopped Two medium size.
Saute Onion, Tomato and Capsicum with considering not to cook the tomatoes completely, since the main pressure heat will cook quite fairly.
Add Turmeric One tbsp. Add Salt One and half tbsp, or according to serving quantity or taste. Add Coriander powder Half tbsp. Add chilli powder Half tbsp.
Saute to mix the spices and veggies properly.
Add soaked Moong dal (soaked for one or half hour) Three fists or Half volume of oats taken.
Add Oats according to serving quantity (volume heavily relied on past estimate)
Saute to mix well.
Add water four times of volume of Oats taken. This will result in not soup-y consistency, this will result like fairly water-oats consistency like semi-lucid. Upon completion, this will look very lucid, but upon some time, it will keep getting less dilute.
Mix well and cover pressure cooker lid.
On high flame, wait for two whistles. Wait for pressure release. Remove pressure cooker lid, and stir well to get uniform consistency. Always add less Salt on time, and check for salt after removing lid. Now taste for salt and add more salt (if needed) accordingly.
