Seriously, the best beef stew recipe ever, with slow-braised beef, chunky mushrooms, potatoes, carrots and peas. This soup recipe is so aromatic and delicious, …
I’ve never made Beef Stew before and I didn’t even know where to start minus a few key ingredients. I have made this recipe over a dozen times now and is a family favorite. I like to make mine a little more hearty so I add more of (__?__) to suit my needs. I also add a little corn. But if you stay in the lines of this recipe you won’t go wrong. I can’t even imagine cooking it another way. So thank you sooooo much. Your recipe is now one of mine and I will always cherish it. If you like yours a little thicker after the starches do their job, Wondra quick mixing flour will thicken this to your preference. 5***
Absolutely delicious. I didn't have beef broth and used homemade turkey broth instead. Didn't have any peas but added a parsnip. It will be a go to in our house. Thank you.
My suggestion, deglaze with the red wine and add the garlic to that, use passata, not tomato sauce, doesn't need sugar, use fresh herbs such as rosemary, french tarragon, parsley and oregano. Drop the worcheshire sauce, add mustard and maybe a couple of chillis. Finally I roll the beef cubes in seasoned flour first then brown these off….. just saying and mine is fantastic too. Oh and I use either a slow cooker on low for about six (6) hours or a good cast iron casseroule dish in the oven on 120C for about five (5) hours.
Great recipe! Like the Idea to use butter and flour with the mushrooms. I would probably use just olive oil but I like your idea better. Can't wait to try it.
This recipe is delicious. Just a tip for people, I found Campbell's beef broth with red wine at the grocery store. Just as good ! 30% less sodium I found. Thanks for this recipe my husband loved it.
look at ME! look at ME! MY Beef this beef MY Beef MY next ingredient MY mira poix I'M MY onions MY garlic MY mira poix MY mushrooms the pot I I I I me my I me my I
Brit here – when she says tomato sauce, does she mean tomato ketchup? Just that's what it means here, but I noticed it came out of a can! I don't want to add ketchup and ruin it if tomato sauce means tomato puree or something 😬
Why do you put the flour on top of the mushrooms instead of later on directly in the pot where you can have more of an idea to how much you need to thicken it appropriately
I’ve made this twice, first time with wine and second without(replaced with more broth). Both times VERY delicious 🤤 Such an easy recipe to follow, thank you! 🤗
I made this today and I am blown away how delicious this stew is! I seasoned my stew meat and flowered the meat before I sautéed it. But followed the recipe after that. I will make this a lot this winter!
Hi tatyana I made this stew for the first time yesterday, unfortunately I didn't have the right herbs but everyone thought it was delicious. I felt that it was a bit to greasy compared to yours when I made it though. Do you have any advice for that?

Why in the heck would you cut the celery and carrots so small? Is it for people who don't have teeth?
This recipe was the best! Easy to follow and extremely delicious!!
Thank you for Sharing!! 😊

I thought it was stew
Mushrooms before butter! You want cook off the moisture in the mushrooms first. Then add your butter! The mushrooms will absorb more of the butter.

Ok, where did you get your beef broth? That was way too dark to be store-bought.
Which wine is best for this recipe, dry or sweet
who makes your cookware, NICE.

I would like to make this but leave out the mushrooms.. should I still add flour? And if so what step do I add it to?! Thanks in advance!!

That’s a nice video, but when did caramel become “Carmel”?

So is it a Stew or a Soup? It looks a bit runny for a stew!

Hi Tatyana can you point me in the right direction for your Italian herb mix please? Many thanks
How to get the bitterness out of the wine she didn't cook it long enough she just threw it in there and then threw everything in
in these stews you dont want to get crust on your beef, it looks tough and not tender
I can't get over how her kitchen visually matches her with the white and copper.
Send me the recipe
How are you making that beef broth? Have I missed someone please explain I want to make this tonight
