It’s easy to overcomplicate what a healthy diet can look like when we’re constantly being told to eliminate almost every food that we enjoy. Instead of focusing on what to restrict, let’s focus on what we can add.
My #1 goal is to promote a healthy lifestyle by helping people make sustainable and realistic changes that are rooted in balance and satisfaction. Contrary to popular belief, dietitians don’t eat a “perfect” diet free of processed foods, non-organic foods, and non-GMO foods – nor do we need to. The goal isn’t to perfect the diet by eliminating all “unhealthy foods”, but to make a healthy lifestyle (a lifestyle that makes you feel happy, energized, and nourished) work for you!
So I’ve been rlly tired lately even when doing nthg and everyone says that’s normal for a teen but I’ve also been rlly busy and ignoring my eating habits; could that be a reason for the extreme exhaustion?
I’m no expert, just a guy, but what i’ve found works well for me is that instead of depriving myself i find alternatives and additions, instead of telling myself “no more snacks” i found snaks that fill me for longer and still satisfy my cravings, same for my meals, now i love cooking, so maybe that’s why this method works so well for me idk, just sharing what works for me
My favorite breakfast right now is steel cut oatmeal with a fried egg. I normally skip breakfast, so this is not a 'diet' breakfast but actually giving me 300 calories more than usual. Right now, my job has many adrenaline moments that suck up alllll the sugars. So, this added meal allows me to avoid McDonald's Drive Thru. Strangely, I now have abs.
probably wouldn't do this. all of this ingredients are going to lead to bloating and digestion issues. especially with the dairy milk. try combining foods either in the same food group or that grow around the same time/place if you're gonna mix foods..

Stop subtracting and start adding ❤️
Whole dairy milk looks like a so much tastier fix than adding gritty protein powder to plant milks like others recommend
I really like that idea! Adding, not subtracting! 💚
Omg thank you. Just THANK YOU.
milk is also not good for you at all, thats why 70% of the world is lactose intolorant…
So as a dietitian you tell me I should ad calories to my meals? What a joke. Cut on calories and then you can ad
Part of a balanced breakfast. They have been saying this forever.
I love your approach to food. add instead of stt remove. My whole life has been about what to remove to lose weight😮💨

Does this diet make you speak really fast too?
Cereal is processed carbs, carbs are not bad, processed carbs probably are
Have a smoothie bowl instead.
Dairy is scary.
woow that's awesome, love it very much
agree
I wouldnt trust you
Or you could just stop eating total trash. And eat like a human being is supposed to.
