My go to meals: soft boiled eggs with avocado and grape tomatoes, raspberry oatmeal, lox cheese and gluten free crackers, chicken and veggies, steak and veggies, sushi, lamb shish kebabs and cabbage salad, chocolate milkshake with Halo Top, raspberry smoothie with Greek yogurt. Not a go to meal but tacos can be low calorie. I think I don't eat them much because they are so messy. I also get ice cream from Mr. Softee a lot.
One of my favourite go to breakfasts/ lunches is tuna sautéed with onions, garlic, seasoning pepper, lemon pepper, cumin, cayenne, and a little salt, and I’ll a can of chickpeas to it 🙌🏽 that plus some roasted veggies or avocado = heaven
I'm not quite sure losing weight by cutting a bit of calories or eating something not very nutritious it's a good thing… Food doesn't suppose to make you lose weight, that is not what food does, in nature 100% of animals gain weight by eating their normal diet later the season will change and these animals will go through periods of fasting, and this is how they control their weight. Just eating all the time and never going through this recess period is what ages people the most… I'm in my 30's doing fasting for longevity and man would I have love to know this in my 20's… Don't lose weight eating food, that is not what food does.
I was trying to find the four sigmatic protein powder on their website to see the price but it must not be out yet or something because i couldnt find it
I'm currently in a deficit and my go to lunch is oatmeal. I buy this high protein oatmeal and put a spoon of high protein peanutbutter in as well as fruit like half a banana or a hand full of blueberries and top it with cinnamon. It's so good and so filling.
I eat so similarly to you. I also use a lot of stir frys with a heavy portion of meat. I love protein powder mixed in (Greek or plain) yogurt or Greek yogurt with cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla (depending on protein count needs for the day). Hearty soups, chili, fritatas (or egg scrambles) and salads roundout my meal variations. I also love soft boiled eggs over a bed of sautéd greens. Sometimes I just pile up my plate with a lot of meat and a side of greens and/or roots and tubers. 💖🔥🌹
Hey Marisa, I remember you mentioning in a previous video that you had a low-protein day to re-sensitise your body to protein. Do you recommend this tip to someone on a cut? And if so, how much protein should be consumed on a low protein day, and how often? Thank you!
Hey! you inspired me to start reverse dieting, because i’ve been kind of stuck on 1300 calories, but now i don’t really know when to stop reverse dieting. At what point am i supposed to stop?
Hi Marisa I’m also in a deficit looking to lose 26lbs! We eat in the same way! I love eating a 600/700 calorie breakfast, a 200 calorie snack and a 900-1000 calorie dinner! I also love high protein and high fat foods and my carbs have to be high fibre such as fruit, veggies, seeds, nuts and whole grains. Seeing that you are on a cut at the same time as me has convinced me to keep going! I’m an emotional eater so I find it hard to keep going.
Bell Peppers can be inflammatory… Check out nightshades.. I watched your videos doing carnivore and the elimination diets, so I'm sure you know all this already xxx
Hehe, this was uploaded on my birthday so I’m going to pretend this is a birthday gift 😂Seriously though, loved the video! I am going on my own cut and I’m a bit nervous because typically I just do 1,200 calories but I’m going to focus on what actually goes into my body. My cut is actually just a wee bit higher than yours but I’m also trying to experiment with my macros so I feel like that may have took my calories just a bit higher.
Adding white beans to your smoothie is a great way to add protein and fiber! You can't taste them and they make your smoothie extra thick and creamy too!
Loved this video, Marissa! I am also cutting/in a slight deficit right now! My go to dinners (like you) are usually huge salads or pasta. My absolute favorite pasta dish is homemade pesto pasta– you can add tons of veggies to this and adjust the amount of olive oil/nuts you put in the pesto if you want to make it lower/higher in fat. This meal is always super filling and satiating 🙂
Eating big salads but switching up the taste really helps. I always have a base in mind either kale, romaine, spinach — then a carb like quinoa, or sweet potato, or brown/mixed rice, have a fat like avocado, or nuts or a fatty fish like tuna or salmon; and then have protein like chicken or fish. And just switch it up as well as the dressing. Looking up Pinterest recipes. Apple and peanut-butter is surprisingly filling (THE NATURAL Homemade peanut butter, not the garbage laden unnecessary processed oils, sugars that leave me feel bloating and hungry!).
Unfortunately being 5'1 I cannot really go past 1,300 calories without gaining weight. I have to eat less than that on top of exercise :/ sigh
I'm always struggling with protein as I'm not a huge fan of meat. If i want a sweet breakfast that will still hit the macros I make protein powder pancakes with little to none flour and no added sugar as the protein powder is already sweet. Add Greek yoghurt and blueberries and you're golden
I agree. I find if I eat more fat, especially in the form of avocados and olives, I feel satiated throughout the day. BTW, you look hotter than ever. You don't even need to cut.

Greek yogurt is another good way to add protein to a smoothie. I like them with raspberries because raspberries are wicked high in fiber
Do green bell peppers 🫑 agree with anyone’s body? Everyone I’ve talked to about this says the same thing! 😀😀😊
Do u have carbs in your first meal if u work out before your first meal? Or do u still wait for dinner for ur carbs?

I totally need your coffee/ tea station tour!! Please make a video of the set up haha I would love to make a little section!!

Protein coffee is one of my staples and Taco cabbage wraps. Sooo good!
Is the recipe for that chicken soup anywhere?? It looks delicious and it should be self explanatory, but I’m not a great cook 😂
Recipe video for the chicken soup pleaseeeee 😍

I totally feel you on the high carb breakfast triggering of ALL DAY hunger! 💖 🔥 🌹
Veggie tacos. And instead of sour cream and cheese, I put Cottage cheese on top. It’s my go to meal
Only just found your channel! Love this video!

Is 140g of protein too much??? Hahaha I'm 100lbs on 5'4…I train moderately 6 times a week, but I also do 10,000steps a day… thanks!

Do you count fiber in your total carbs?
Adding white beans to your smoothie is a great way to add protein and fiber! You can't taste them and they make your smoothie extra thick and creamy too!
Oh my god thank you
I’m coming off a keto diet and always counted net carbs on that. For a traditional macro diet would I still count net carbs or do I count total carbs?
I do better with higher carbs. I've tried higher fat and felt hungry funny how different everyone is

Are you still intermittent fasting everyday? What's your eating window now?

Do you have a recipe for your frozen adaptogen mango bites? They look yummy! 😊
Chocolate with coffee and cardamom. I have to get some!
