My dog also won’t eat unless I sit/stand right next to him. BUT….
With the added step of we have to be playing, and he must think I am trying to get his toy (which is in the food bowl now) from him.
He thinks he’s making me wait to play. If I walk away or look at my phone he will stop eating and look at me until I try to play again, and he’ll be like, “girl chill I’m tryna eat”.
